Downtown Campus, University of Texas at San Antonio

Since 2019 Phil Myrick has been working with UTSA and their architects to bring placemaking to their new buildings in downtown, to help ensure that their investments help create a great college town atmosphere. This includes a placemaking and program strategy for San Pedro 1 – the new School of Data Science and National Security Collaboration Center – as well as other UTSA developments in this central location. These projects are important to UTSA’s future as an urban campus that anchors a resurging downtown innovation district.
